In this issue...
  • Vicar's message - We see fires of change burning in our world — movements for justice, voices calling for healing, truth-tellers refusing to be silenced. We see communities finding new ways to care for one another. We also see division and fear. Will we step into this moment with Spirit’s fire kindled in us? Will we allow the flame of Divine love to refine our hearts, burn away complacency, and awaken courage? Read the rest of the Vicar's message in our newsletter here.

In this issue...
  • Vicar's message - The opportunities to embody Christ consciousness can come at any time: in a challenge that calls for mercy, an opportunity to speak truth, or a quiet chance to let go of irritation. Will the lamp be ready? Will the flame be steady? Keep the lamp lit. Keep the stream flowing. Christ’s coming — through us — may be as near as our next breath. Read the rest of the Vicar's message in our newsletter here.

In this issue...
  • Vicar's message - We may not think so, but we all have much to share, an abundance to give. Our insights, skills, love, compassion, and time are meant to flow so that all may have what they need to thrive. What would it look like to live like that? To trust that the Creator’s bounty and love really are enough to satisfy the thirsty and fill the hungry? To believe that we don’t need to cling to our storehouses of goods? To release our fears knowing that Divine compassion is already reaching for us? Read the rest of the Vicar's message in our newsletter here.

  • Vicar's message - There are times when the simplest questions carry the deepest longing. “Teach us to pray,” the disciples say. They don’t ask how to perform miracles, how to preach, or how to heal. They ask how to connect. What if prayer is not about getting answers, but about staying in the flow of Spirit long enough to connect with the Divine deep inside? Read the rest of the Vicar's message in our newsletter here.

In this issue...
  • Vicar's message - Martha says: If I don’t do it, it won’t get done. Maybe that’s true. But is it the only truth? What if we stopped virtue signaling and started soul listening? What if we let joy into our work and made time to pause? What if we stopped framing life as either/or—and embraced it as both/and? Spirit reminds us to live in balance: meeting ourselves where we are—with grace—while also staying open to how the Spirit wants to stretch us. Read the rest of the Vicar's message in our newsletter here.

In this issue...
  • Vicar's message - Last week, reflected on the courage it takes to let go—of fear, of control, of all the ways we try to manage or protect ourselves. We named the invitation to release whatever keeps us from love, and to trust that when we do, we make space for the Spirit to move. Letting go, we said, is not weakness. It’s how love flows. And this week, we continue that flow—not just in surrender, but in presence. We’re invited to stay open even when we are not received. To travel light, even when burdens arise. To be at peace, and to carry peace wherever we go.  Read the rest of the Vicar's message in our newsletter here.

In this issue...
  • Vicar's message - The Spirit calls us to let go—not into apathy, but into active, intentional love. Over the past few weeks, we’ve been reflecting on the image of the Water of Life—the water of our baptism that connects, nourishes, and teaches us how to live in the flow of grace. Like water, love flows in the present moment. It doesn’t cling to the past or force the future. It meets the moment fully, offering itself without fear. To live for love is to loosen our grip. To live with love is to let the Spirit guide our steps. So may we ask ourselves honestly: What needs to be released in me today, so I can live more freely in love—and not in fear? Read the rest of the Vicar's message in our newsletter here.

In this issue...
  • Vicar's message - Through the wild tale in Luke 8 about a man possessed, we are shown that we can be inhabited by a legion of voices. In our increasingly chaotic world, systems of politics, money, and social status wield power and distract us from our soul's identity and purpose. Today, just as in Jesus' time, loud and relentless voices try to name us, shape us, and scatter our sense of self. Read the rest of the message for practical suggestions on how we can step away from the noise and into a sacred practice of clearing and healing.

In this issue...
  • Vicar's message - In a world that aches for healing, Spirit is speaking, inviting us to listen. Spirit supports us as we flow while urging us to stretch our imaginations. We are co-creating a new world as we learn to embrace Christ within. As heavy as we might feel given the state of the world, we are held by the wonders of Creation. Our planet is knit in triune harmony by God — Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer — who reminds us to carry just the part we’re ready for, together, with love. Read the rest of the Vicar's message in our newsletter here or watch last Sunday's sermon here.
