• Vicar's message - This Sunday, we hear the Beatitudes from Jesus' Sermon on the Plain. Rather than dividing ourselves into categories of "Blessed are you" and "Woe to you," we can embrace them all as facets of our shared humanity. We experience both blessing and woes because we are human. Jesus' words remind us that in every circumstance—joy or sorrow, gain or loss—God is present. The Beatitudes invite us to step into compassion and love for ourselves and others.
